Music Tastes

What kinds of music do you like?

I prefer anything considered 'hard' in terms of rock. I love Hollywood Undead, new Hinder, My Darkest Days, Marilyn Manson, and more.

I also like the classics... ACDC, Metallica, Joan Jett, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Jimi Hendrix, RATM.

But I LOVE the Beastie Boys

I don't HATE today's hip-hop, but I find it annoying and stupid. Old rap was good in a sense. Country isn't bad, I just don't listen to its new stuff.

Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alabama, Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams... that's country music.

I like Industrial (Nine Inch Nails)
Industrial Metal (Ministry)
Gothic Rock (Limnus),
EBM (T3RR0R 3RR0R)
Shock Rock (like Marilyn Manson, but his old stuff)
Hardcore Pop (My Chemical Romance)
heavier Metal (Nile).

I also like old metal, Like Black Sabbath and Metallica.

I like punk too, but that is mostly limited to the Sex Pistols and GG Allin.

I dislike new Rap, but you might catch me listening to the Jay-Z and Linkin Park album, Nelly, Outkast and some other old ones. I don't fuck with the new shit. Because 80% of it is shit.

I love Classical, and I favor Beethoven, Bach, and Mozart.

Lynard Skynard is all I listen to as far as country goes.

I also know about a ton of genre's of music, just because I'm a nerd that does research on everything.

Oh, I think the lot of us are going to get along just fine.

For the most part, I'm a metal head. I have a few exceptions, as I know a lot of bands. So many, in fact, that I have a large list of bands that I like to listen to. It may or may not have hit 300 by now. Aside from the odd ones out, most of my favorites fall under Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, Power Metal, Classic Rock, Glam Rock, that kind of thing. I'm a fan of most of the things you guys put out, too, and have a few of them also on my list.

I do not favor rap or country at all, but I have my exceptions.

Disturbed For the mother freaking win.

I love Dream Theater and Kamelot.

I have an absolute SHEER hatred of rap and pop though. The only pop I like is by Linkin Park.

I'm sorry I wasn't quite clear there. I meant the original MCR. I'm not really a fan of the Killjoys or much of what they've recently done.

Yeah, but they are still pretty poppy. Even The Black Parade and Three Cheers had this really...poppy undertone. Rofl.

Right now, I'm listening to Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson. I'm only into his first 4 albums. His last three were....eh....

I guess you could say that, yeah. I won't argue there. Really the songs I most enjoy by them are Helena, Dead!, I'm not OK (I Promise), and This is how I disappear. I did still enjoy the Black Parade songs.

That's what I listen to, well minus the Captian Underpants, and Micheal Jackson. This modern "whateveritscalled" I don't like. I find it funny that someway, the most popular songs today all sing about sex. What's even funnier is watching little children sing it. XD
