Oda - Largest clan. Colors are black and gold. Symbol is the Wolf. Situated in the north.
Feiyo - Colors are black and red. Symbol is the Dragon. Situated in the center.
Taketusi - Colors are blue and gold. Symbol is the Serpent. Situated in the east, between Oda and Feiyo.
Tori - Colors are green and silver. Symbol is the Eagle. Situated in the southwest.
Koiri - Colors are purple and black. Symbol is the ___. Situated in the southeast.

Outline
Past
The Feiyo Clan abdicates the throne, and this throws Tochi into a Warring States Period. 26 and 27 year old Masuto and Yujin join the Oda clan and lead it to glory. At the Siege of the Imperial Palace, while battling the Feiyo, the two friends unearth the Dragon's Urn. It consumes Yujin and sends him into a violent rage, but Masuto strikes him down. Masuto flees the Palace and retreats to Yama Mountain. For the next few years he builds Meiyo Temple, and invites anyone to come train with him for the next 60 years. Oda claims the Palace, the Feiyo are pushed south, and for the next six decades they remain at relative but volatile peace.
Present
-An 87 year old Masuto trains his students at Meiyo Temple. These students are revered and known as the Meiyo Senshi, or Honorable Warriors.
-Meanwhile, down below in Tochi, the Master Samurai of the Feiyo clan Raku, suspects the next Warring States period is about to begin and consults Masuto on the matter.
-In a surprise attack a group of skillfully trained warriors attack Meiyo Temple, killing a majority of the students and even Masuto himself is killed by Yujin. A few escape, but not before Masuto instructs them to seek out Raku.
-The Meiyo Senshi seek out Raku but take shelter at a nearby village. They get into a fight with a group of brigands, who reveal they're working for the Josho-Taiyo.
-The Meiyo Senshi find Raku at the Feiyo Capital, but they must first help repel an attack by the Takutiso clan. Here they meet Samurai's Kuji, Makudan, and Ziku.
-Raku explains to the Senshi that he has been working alongside a secretive group of assassins known as the Anatsu-Sha, and that many of its members were recruited from the Meiyo Senshi themselves. Masuto acted as a councilor for the group, but preferred to stay out of the affair. Raku directs the Senshi to Shinobi Umatsu who resides in a hidden temple deep in the forest.
-The Senshi find the hidden temple and after a stalemate with the Anatsu-Sha, Shinobi Umatsu discovers they are Senshi and not Taiyo.
-Umatsu explains that Masuto trained warriors for many years, and some decided to join the Anatsu-Sha. The Sha have been working to undermine another covert group known as the Josho-Taiyo. The Senshi decide to help the Anatsu-Sha.
-Umatsu directs them to the city of... with the aid of Kara, a female assassin.

Characters
Mausto - Former samurai of the Oda, friend of Yujin, and Master of the Maiyo Temple.
Yujin - Former samurai of the Oda, friend of Masuto. Thought to be deceased, but leads the Josho-Taiyo.
Zakuga - Right-hand lieutenant of Yujin, ruthless and diabolical, slays many of the Senshi. He is also the youngest son of the Takutiso Daimyo and wants revenge against Kamaru after he killed his older brother. His death made Zakuga angry and evil.
Raku - Master Samurai of the Feiyo clan, ally of the Anatsu-Sha. Wants only peace, but must deal with his enemies to protect his youngest brother's clan. He was denied heirship to the throne in favor of his younger brother due to his 'peace-loving nature'.
Kamaru - Younger brother of Raku and Daimyo of the Feiyo Clan. He is disabled after being struck down by arrows after he daringly slew the Takutiso Daimyo's son in a duel to first blood. He replaced his older brother Raku after being called 'daring, bold, and overall a good leader' by his father.
Kuji, Makudan, and Riku - Samurai of the Feiyo clan, subordinates of Raku.
Umatsu - Master Shinobi of the Anatsu-Sha. Once an enemy of Masuto and Yujin as he fought to defend the palace but was bested by the duo. He sought to protect the Urn from would-be conquerors. Formed the Sha to assassinate would-be claimers of the Urn.
Kara - Anatsu-Sha member, helps the Senshi find the Taiyo. Family was once Meiyo Senshi who was hunted down and killed by the Taiyo and she now seeks revenge.

Yujin survived and created the Josho-Taiyo, who enslave people and force them to excavate the Imperial Palace ruins. Masuto trains the Anatsu-Sha and the group fights back against the Josho-Tiayo. Masuto does not know who the Josho are or what they intend to do, nor does he know Yujin leads them.
